… an exciting option in residential life at UM ¿Qué es? ¿Qu’est-ce que c’est?
La Casa Internationale is a unique living and learning experience that gives you more exposure to the Spanish and French languages and offers ways to explore the wide variety of Spanish and French-speaking cultures with other students who share your interests. Students live in the suites on the first floor of Pearson Residential College. La Casa offers a comfortable atmosphere in which you can improve your language skills with other students of Spanish/French and Spanish/French-speaking cultures. Living in La Casa fosters your cultural interests and connects you to a wide community of students, professors, local and international artists and the larger Spanish-speaking population of Miami. Programming in La Casa will focus on issues of language, culture, and diversity. Members will be required to attend bi-monthly Casa meetings and Casa programming events monthly.
